The Marwari community, originating from Rajasthan and various regions across the country, venerates Rani Sati Dadi, believing her to be an incarnation of Maa Durga. Rani Sati Dadi's connection to the Mahabharata is evident through her role as Utera, the wife of Abhimanyu. When Abhimanyu succumbed in the battle of Mahabharata, Utera expressed her desire to perform the act of sati by immolating herself in the funeral pyre of Abhimanyu.
