Shantadurga, also written as शांतादुर्गा in Devanagari, represents the widely venerated form of the Hindu goddess Durga in Goa, India, and certain parts of Karnataka. She is regarded as a manifestation of the ancient Mother goddess known as Santeri. The worship of Shantadurga is prevalent in nearly all villages of Goa, often symbolized by an ant hill, a feature observed in various temples dedicated to Shantadurga.
