Vishnupad Mandir

Vishnupad Mandir

This remarkable architectural marvel, standing 100 feet tall and crafted from gray granite, captivates with its octagonal shrine and eight rows of intricately carved pillars. Within this shrine, the footprints of Lord Vishnu, known as Dharmasila, are revered and worshipped.

A gathering of individuals from all corners of India occurs in the city during Pitra Paksha, the period for performing the final ritual called "Pind Dana" for departed souls. According to Hindu beliefs, this ceremony is crucial for liberating the human soul from the cycle of rebirth.
