Shadavimsa Brahmana belongs to Samaveda and divided into five Prapathakas. It is considered as an appendix to the Panchavimsha Brahmana and its twenty-sixth prapathaka. It consists of five prapathakas and divided into 7, 10, 12,7,12 khandas in the respectively. Shadvimsha Brahmana is a continuation work of Pancha vimsha Brahmana. Panchavimsha and Shadvimsha Brahmana together is called Tandya Brahmana. Its closing part is the Chandogya Upanishad.
