Spirituality in Sanatan Dharma
What is Spirituality?
Spirituality is considered an essential aspect of Sanatan Dharma, and its followers believe that it is the path to the ultimate truth, liberation, and union with the divine. Sanatan Dharma recognizes that spirituality can be pursued in various ways, and therefore, it does not promote a rigid dogma or set of beliefs. Instead, it encourages individuals to find their own path towards spiritual awakening, self-realization, and enlightenment.
What is oneness?
Sanatan Dharma also promotes the idea of the interconnectedness of all living beings and the universe, known as the concept of "oneness." This principle teaches that everything in existence is interconnected, and every living being is a manifestation of the divine. This understanding encourages individuals to practice compassion, kindness, and respect towards all living beings, including animals and nature.
