(When,) by constantly serving (nityam... sevayā) Bhāgavata (bhāgavata), (those) inauspicious (vāsanā-s or tendencies) (abhadreṣu) are mostly (prāyeṣu) destroyed (naṣṭa), devotion (bhaktiḥ) to the Fortunate One (bhagavati), who is highly renowned (uttama-śloke), becomes (bhavati) firm and definitive (naiṣṭhikī)1||18||
