कर्मायत्तं फलं पुंसां बुद्धिः कर्मानुसारिणी । तथापि सुधियश्चार्या सुविचार्यैव कुर्वते ॥

Men reap the fruits of their deeds, and intellects bear the mark of deeds performed in previous lives; even so the wise act after due circumspection.

हमें अपने कर्म का फल मिलता है. हमारी बुद्धि पर इसके पहले हमने जो कर्म किये है उसका निशान है. इसीलिए जो बुद्धिमान लोग है वो सोच विचार कर कर्म करते है.
