upārjitānāṃ vittānāṃ tyāga eva hi rakṣaṇam | taḍāgodarasaṃsthānāṃ parīvāha ivāmbhasām ||

संचित धन खर्च करने से बढ़ता है. उसी प्रकार जैसे ताजा जल जो अभी आया है बचता है, यदि पुराने स्थिर जल को निकल बहार किया जाये.
