A human without wisdom and virtue is no better than an animal. Just as a tree that bears no fruit is of little use, a person devoid of knowledge and righteousness contributes nothing of value to society. Life is not meant merely for survival; it is an opportunity to cultivate intellect, discipline, and morality. The wise understand that true wealth lies not in material possessions but in learning and virtuous conduct. Therefore, one must strive to uplift oneself through education, self-discipline, and righteous deeds, lest one becomes a mere burden upon the earth.
Hindi Translation
Those who possess neither education nor austerity, neither charity nor wisdom, neither good character nor virtues, nor adherence to righteousness—such individuals are but burdens upon the earth. Though they appear in human form, they wander like beasts.
