Bhairavi, one of the Mahavidyas, is a Hindu goddess. She is the wife of Shiva's avatar Kala Bhairava.

Bhairavi appears in a fierce form and is also known as Tripurabhairavi. She has four hands and blesses us with her right. She is the protector of the entire universe, protecting us from all natural disasters, evil forces, and enemies.

We can get rid of all the negative effects and gain more energy in our mind and body by reciting the shloka dedicated to her. We will also gain spiritual energy if we continue to worship her and chant her various names. She primarily removes fear from our minds at the time of our death and assists us in moving towards the spiritual path during our lives. She dresses in red, and we can offer red sarees to her deity in temples dedicated to her.

Tripura Sundari and Tripura Bhairavi are closely related and provide us with better opportunities in life if we worship them. Bhairavi is none other than our Mata Parvati, and she adores and guides her children in all aspects of their lives. The only requirement is that we sincerely worship her with complete faith and devotion in our hearts.

IMPORTANCE

Bhairavi is in charge of the negative changes in our lives. And, while she cannot change our fate, she can help us adjust to life in this KALIYUGA by instilling more courage and confidence in our minds. She will also alleviate our sufferings and cleanse us of our sins. She is our loving mother, and she will try to alleviate our problems and encourage us to focus on positive activities. As the consort of Kalabhairava, worshipping Kalabhairava in Shiva temples will make her happy and grant us a happy and prosperous life. She also heals us from a variety of dread diseases and strengthens both our mind and body.

Famous temples dedicated to the goddess Bhairavi include the Bhairavi temple in Brahmapur, the Siddha Bhairavi temple in Odisha, and the Linga Bhairavi temple in Salem.

Donating food and clothing, educating poor children, and providing shelter for the poor will greatly satisfy her and bring her grace to us. She can be worshipped by visiting her temples, or we can worship her with her laminated or framed photo in our puja room, offering flowers and fruits, preparing some sundal (CHICKPEAS) and offering her as naivedyam (Holy Prasad - Food offering), and then distributing the Prasad to the people after the puja. Daily chanting of the shiva panchakshara mantra "OM NAMAH SHIVAYA" and "OM MAA TRIPURA BHARAVI DEVIYE NAMAHA" is recommended.

Let us be blessed by praying to the divine holy mother.
