Morning: A Day of Sacred Serenity

Experience the essence of Varanasi with this itinerary. From the early morning, Ganga Aarti to temple strolling, witness the city's rich culture and traditions. Indulge in local breakfast, explore temples, and witness the evening aarti. End your day with snacks and accommodation near the river.

Morning Ganga Aarti

Start your day early and witness the iconic Assi Ghat Ganga Aarti by reaching there before 5:30 am.

Boat Ride

Next, we will take a Ganga boat ride to explore the nearby ghats and witness sadhus and locals performing rituals. After this, visit the Kaal Bhairav Temple and indulge in some delicious local breakfast at Thatheri Bazar.

Bhairav Temple & Breakfast

Then We will visit the famous temple of Kaal Bhairav. Then we will head to get a scrumpalicious breakfast at Thatheri Bazar or different gali of Benares.

A Visit to Tulsi Ghat

After breakfast, reach Tulsi Ghat around 9 am to watch young athletes taking part in mud-wrestling. If you don’t like sports, you can stick with exploring temples in the region.

AfterNoon

A visit to the temples is a must during your afternoon in Kashi. The iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple stands as a testament to the city's deep-rooted spirituality. Feel the palpable devotion as you witness the rituals and ceremonies being performed with utmost reverence. Seek solace in the quiet corners of other renowned temples like Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple and Durga Temple, each offering a unique spiritual experience.

Vishwanath Mandir Darshan

Mid morning is the best time to visit the temple as the crowd will be substantially smaller. After exploring the temple, walk through Vishwanath Gali street to enjoy a traditional lunch and shopping. The Gali is the right place to buy souvenirs like brass articles, copper articles, silver articles, statues, religious items, textile, and others.

After Darshan at Kashi Vishwanath we will visit some interesting temples in Varanasi like Nepali Temple, Mahamrityunjay Temple, and others. After that we will return back to Dashashwamedh Ghat right in time for evening aarti.

As you become part of this enchanting scene, feel the spiritual energy permeate your being. Allow the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti to transport you to a realm where time stands still, where the divine and the earthly merge in perfect harmony. Witness the flickering flames and hear the resonating chants as they fill your heart with a sense of awe and reverence.

Evening Aarti

The evening aarti starts at sunset. This is the iconic tourist attraction of Varanasi. Watch young sadhus perform synchronized rituals by twirling large lamps, chanting mantras in chorus and many others for 45 minutes.

Manikarnika Ghat & Aarti

After Ganga aarti, we will visit Manikarnika Ghat to watch the cremation process. And we will be lucky then we can witness the Maha aarti of Mahashamshaannath Temple at Manikarnika Ghat.

Snacks and Exploration

Walk through the Gali to enjoy snacks like lassi, kulfi, and others. If you have the stomach for it.

Accommodate yourself comfortably after a long tiring day and enjoy the peaceful view of Ganga Ji.
