Tantralok 1 61
विश्वाकृतित्वाच्चिदचित्तद्वैचित्र्यावभासकः। ततोऽस्य बहुरूपत्वमुक्तं दीक्षोत्तरादिके॥६१॥
Viśvākṛtitvāccidacittadvaicitryāvabhāsakaḥ| Tato'sya bahurūpatvamuktaṁ dīkṣottarādike||61||
Due to (His) universality (viśvākṛtitvāt), He is revealing that variety composed of cit and acit --conscious and unconscious, i.e. living and inert-- (cit-acit-tad-vaicitrya-avabhāsakaḥ). On that account (tatas), in Dīkṣottaratantra, etc. (dīkṣottara-ādike) He is said to be (asya... uktam) multiform (bahu-rūpatvam)||
